Climbed Highlight (Kid Goat) on Saturday with Dave McNab. Despite a few
wet seeps through the climbing line you could mostly stick to dry rock,
and the climbing was enjoyable nonetheless. In a few places fixed pitons
are in place for protection but seem suspect; I backed these up with
small, slightly-less-suspect nuts, but bringing a hammer to test, plus
maybe a couple of pins just in case would be a good idea despite the
"retrofit" a few years back. There are some large loose blocks here and
there, especially in the middle of pitch 4 so use extra caution -- from
high on the route it's impossible to see if anyone is below you on the
trail, so trundling is probably not a good idea.
