[MCR] Mt. Edith South Ridge

Still snow to be found at the start of the South Ridge gully and on the final "tunnel" on the descent. With the warmer temps, we got away without using our ice axe but that could change if temps cool down overnight. Having never done this route before, I was surprised about the extent of loose rubble on the holds (would be a nightmare to have a party in front of you!!), the bolts at the belays (a 50 meter rope is very tight - 60m is better) and the mosquitos infestation on the approach in the morning. Nevertheless, a fun day on a classic Rockies traverse!

Cheers,
