Back from a couple of days of easy peak bagging around Farley Lake. It's
full on summer there now, hot and very dry, with only scattered remnant
snowpatches above 7000 ft on north facing gullies. I'd think June would be
a better time for this area as snow in the gullies would make for more
enjoyable ascents/descents of the many fun moderate peaks in this area. As
it is there is a lot of rubbly talus to negotiate.
Trail from Whiterabbit Ck needed a lot of loving, which I did for a couple
of hours with a small hand saw and now it's not too desperate with the
exception of a blowdown area at about 5800 ft or so.
