Getting chased around as many this week with weather. Flipped a coin and went into the Tonquin.
Aug 9, hike in dry best day.
Rain night of 9th and sticking above 8000ft, but melting as day went by. Peaks in the Ramparts with maybe 10cm up high. Chased off Memorial Peak by thunder on the 10th, and this system produced a lot of precipitation quickly.

Picture of Fraser Glacier and Macdonnel, still good coverage on glacier. Cavell looked pretty white today above the Shoulder and the backside also looked very white especially the upper 1000ft. With good weather much of this will melt off in a few days.

bridges fixed over Penstock ck enroute to the Wates-Gibson Palace.
