Two photos of mt. Robson from Sunday a.m.. +6 deg C at 0800hrs at 7500'
elevation. ~40cm of new snow Friday night from an intense local storm.
Appears to have settled with boot top travel on Sunday but likely this has
changed already as more snow arrived Sunday evening/Monday morning. Some
major ice-fall calving observed below 6000' elevation. I left the area
after 10am so could not speak to afternoon avalanche activity but no
obvious fracture lines noted at the time. Suspect isolated pockets of
windslabs in locations and more snow will add to this. Active loose snow
avalanches observed off N face. I have more photos from the day but the
system only lets me attach two.
