Skinned up yesterday to the Bald hills to go for a stretch. There was
about 5cm new overnight.
There is about 20cm in the parking lot and about 40-50cm at treeline.
Lots of wind affect up high.
In general the snowpack is still quite unconsolidated and tough trail
breaking. (up and down)
The fire road has decent coverage, there just hasn't been much traffic on it.
Actually going for turns is not really recommended yet. If you are on
a snow board take the summer trail up and down or you will be walking.
It is pretty much exactly what you would think of skiing in mid
November, the Rockies....Jasper.
