Climbed up the route Sunday under clear skies and
hot temperatures.
Small snow patches aid in the ascent getting to the
waterfall but there are currently large moats around the rocks that would be
very easy to fall into if you're not careful.
Was able to link snow patches (boot top
penetration) from the waterfall to the col but these will not last much
longer. There was the odd patch of ice between the col and summit but
easy to avoid. Crampons were not needed.
Lots of loud rumbling coming from the Ten Peaks and
O'Hara regions with the heat and still LARGE amounts of snow on Mts. Whyte,
Victoria and Lefroy.
Happy Canada Day!
Cheers
