Climbed the East Ridge of Temple today. Dry and easy going to 3000 m at the top of the big step, where the snow begins. There is 10-20 cm of snow up there from the storm a few days ago that is not melting fast. Moist when the sun was out today, and resulting rockfall, but still dry snow in the shade above 3200 m. Traverse into the Black Towers was a bit complicated with lots of residual snow from winter and now 10 cm fresh and verglass on rocks. Good steps in snow thankfully - just slow. Black Towers gully was snow and ice over rock most of the way. Used crampons from the top of the big step to the summit.
