A substantial rock occurred today on Tunnel Mountain. The location was on
the prominent SE buttress almost exactly half way between Gooseberry and
The Shoe, so, quite far away from any established climbing routes. It was
roughly 25m wide 40m high, and 2 to 5m thick. The debris took out a swath
of trees approximately the same dimensions of the slide itself, but did not
reach the trail below. Photos of the scar and location are attached.
