The Beacon Basin training site in Kananaskis Country is set up and is good to go.

It is located in the same place that it has been the past few years near Burstall Pass Trailhead 200m down the trail at the end of the cut block.  There are 8 transceivers at the site all covered with plywood targets.  There are spare batteries with the training unit so if you need to replace the batteries please do so but email Avalanche.Safety@xxxxxxxxx so we know to get more spares to the site.

Have a safe Winter!
