Beautiful day at the Columbia Icefields. By noon only a few clouds in the sky. Walked up to the first ice fall on the Athabasca Glacier today. Up to 15cm of new snow was settling and melting fast with today’s warm temperatures. 16 degrees at 2:30pm. Snow was up to boot top. See attachment for the photo of Andromeda North Bowl.
