Summer is on its way but not quite here yet.

Warmer temperatures throughout the forecast ranges has melted a lot of snow but
spring conditions still exist.

Front range rock routes are dry from Kananaskisk to Jasper but the bigger
alpine rock routes, including the Bugaboos and Rogers Pass still need some
time.

Waist deep foot penetration can be expected on the higher glaciers and alpine
routes without a good freeze, but otherwise good conditions exist.

Recent cornice and rockfall have been observed but with good overnight freezes
and good timing, good conditions exist.

Have a great weekend.
