Spent the last 5 days traveling from Mt McPherson to Mt Cranberry in the Gold Range SW of Revelstoke. Treeline and below, most of the snow is gone with good travel and lots of water in the creeks, though the bugs (mosquitoes, black flies, horse flies) were HORRENDOUS! Excellent travel in the high alpine with lots of snow and good coverage on the glaciers. With little freeze, no crampons needed. We say lots of fresh grizzly digs and scat up high. Have a great weekend! James Vickers - ACMG
