[MCR] Snowpack conditions on the Central Coast

I spent some time in the mountains around Bella Coola in the past 2 weeks. The
snowpack was around a meter at tree-line, and generally unconsolidated. The
rocks and slide alder are exposed more than one would expect even with a meter
of snow. On the glaciers, the crevasses are poorly bridged, and there are
more and more crevasses every year as the glaciers continue to contract.

Fortunately, the past 4 days of storm snow has added another 70 - 100cm's
accumulated snow!
