My fellow Mountain Guides, Jesse de Montigny, David Stark and I
guided the South Ridge of Mt Fable yesterday, July 7th. The route is
largely dry, but there are some snow and ice patches/strips high on
the route. We were able to kick some steps into the snow to
facilitate our ascent. Positively, the snow and ice are creating
water that can be gathered easily through a drinking straw.
