Attempted the NE Ridge of Victoria from Lake Louise yesterday, saturday august 6th. Despite it being plus 10 degrees at the parking lot at 4:00am we thought we'd take our packs for a walk and have a look anyway. A cornice rimmed the ramp to the Collier/North Victoria col, part of which looked like it came down the day before but there's still enough hang fire to want to avoid the normal route/ramp and stay more on lookers right side. Would want a good overnight freeze and a cool day to keep the rocks and snow over ice in place.
