Climbed the Urs Hole today with 17 others(the morning shift). Lots of well
travelled climbing on "straws" (ice with running water underneath) and walking
around small to medium sized open pools. A good place to be light on your feet
and maybe consider being in some kind of roped glacier travel mode if you
aren't an experienced ice water swimmer.
The sections in, around and under the chunks of glaciated avalanche debris are
the cruxes and the highlights. Bring a headlamp and get there before it snows a
bunch.
