Linked up Rogans Gully and Cascade today with two guests.
Both of these routes have previously avalanched, probably in the last 2 weeks I'm guessing.
Rogans is in easier shape than previous years, in fact the little pillar that is usually found mid route at the narrows is completely buried in avalanche debris and a walk. Cascade is in very good shape, a bit brittle at times. The last pitch has some thinner hollow spots that are easily avoided to the right. Moderate temps and wind today.
A very pleasant day on mostly plastic ice.
