Enjoyed a calm crisp day in Field guiding Guinness Gully and High Test alongside another party who climbed Guinness Stout. All routes are in great shape with good protection throughout and the upper pitches are very aesthetic in the afternoon sunshine. Some brittle ice with the current cool temps.
The 15-20cm of recent storm snow in the upper gullies has faceted out and no longer has enough of a slab property to be much of an avalanche issue at this time. Some minor sluffing in steep terrain. This could easily change with more wind or additional load but seemed fine today.
