Skied today in the Duffy Lake area. North aspects were still in good shape above 1750m, everything else was sun crusted. By the end of the day 15cm of new snow covered the old surface. In some places the crust is supportive with skis. The mid day sun was not strong enough to  cause even balling.  No new avalanches observed. I found the alpine hazard was Moderate, tree line was Low.
