All the routes on Yamnuska are dry with the exception of the deep dark chasms.
Some water ice formed over night, mostly just below the ridge crest, and the
ice cubes were flying down the face around noon.
We were clipping bolts on the West end and the walk off from there was in great
shape. Skiers right scree was 9/10.
Judging from the look of Goat mtn there must still be lots of snow on the back
side of yam. Looks really snowy east of highway 40 so some high scrambles may
not be the place to be tomorrow afternoon.
