We climbed Uto SW Ridge today.
The Sir Donald basin is almost completely snow covered beyond the first
moraine, with over a meter at the Sir D bivy site. Uto itself is nearly all dry
up and down. On descent there is snow on the final slopes leading back down to
the basin. Snow travel was good all day.
Sir Donald still has snow on some of the ledges and flat sections of the ridge.
