I guided the East ridge of Mt. Temple today with one guest. Weather and conditions were excellent. The route was almost completely dry to the glacier except for a small snow patch on the traverse and a few steps on the snow covered ledge below the towers (steps were secure and good). The glacier still has enough snow to make for secure footing as well but we needed crampons on the hard surface.
As we left at about 6pm the present storm started rolling in and will likely deposit snow above 10,000ft -- it was a cool day up high today. Tom
