Here is a photo of the Bugaboo-Snowpatch col taken today. Good steps all the
way up, minimal crevasse issues, a wee bit of scrappiness in a few steps of ice
and some gravel at the very top. All in all it is in excellent condition for
this time of year.
We also descended the Pigeon fork of Bugaboo glacier via the Marmolata basin
south of the nunatak. It is quite crevassed but still doable for now.
All the spires seem in good shape with just a bit of snow remaining on north
facing ledges and cracks. Several parties climbed NE Ridge of Bugaboo yesterday
- albeit slowly.
