The main trail is in good shape and has good coverage, although is a wee
bit sporty coming down.  65cm of snow at 2200m with two distinct crusts in
the top 25cm.  The first is down 10cm and quite breakable, but the second
down 20cm carries nicely and allows for efficient wandering through the
forest on the way up.  Ski quality is decent at upper elevations, and
manageable through the trees with gentle maneuvering.

Lots of early season hazards lurking under the snow...
