Rockies -- Informal ACMG Rockies Guides' Route and Conditions Information Exchange

About Rockies
English (USA)

The ACMG Rockies/Interior Informalex has a few guidelines. Please acquaint yourself with http://www.informalex.org for details before posting messages, especially if you are new to the Informalex.

Subscribing to the Rockies/Interior Informalex also means that you will be subscribed to the Mountain Conditions Report (MCR). -- Launched in 2005, any member of the public is free to view the archives and/or subscribe. The MCR provides current mountain conditions information and is provided on a sporadic, volunteer basis by professional guides. As of June 2007 the MCR has close to 800 subscribers. Please see the MCR's main site for details at http://acmg.ca/mcr.

Guides are encouraged to make posts to the MCR when they encounter mountain conditions they think would be relevant to the public. Note that there are guidelines for posting to the MCR; these are outlined on the ACMG's member's site. Contact the moderator (see below) if you have any questions.

Archives for July 2003-November 2003 may be obtained by making a request to the moderator.

To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the Rockies Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
