Aug 6-13th Huston Lake/Moby Dick - Southern Selkirks area with the
Alpine Club GMC
It seems we were spared the bad weather reported in other areas. Solid
freezes in the later half of the week (around +5 in the AM's with clear
skies overnight). Glacier travel was becoming more complex in the Moby
Dick area with warm daytime temps for the last 2 weeks.
This is an excellent spot for a tent based trip. Great rock on
Escalade as well as the Redburn- White Jacket- Proteus traverse. There
are numerous other great day trip options.
