Up to 15cm of low density new snow was bonding well to old hard windslab and
a variety of surfaces. No new wind effect(yet)although moderate to strong
west winds were transporting snow all day. High overcast most of the day
with some glimpses of the sun and temperatures stayed relatively cold, high
of -3 and low of -8.
No new avalanches observed today but evidence of widespread activity
especially on solar aspects which had run almost full path in the past
48hrs. Beware of the weak facetted mid pack below treeline as it is a
concern with skis breaking through occasionally.
