Skied the Miner's Peak gully above Canmore today.
-2 up top with about 15 cm new snow. Minimal wind effect, but it only takes 5
minutes in the sun to wreck the snow these days, and the upper gully was a bit
crusty and full of debris. Lower fan was excellent. No slabs to worry about
today, but lots of debris from loose wet snow off the sun exposed rocks.
Skied down to the first cliffband in the lower gully and then walked out from
there. There is a good trail on the skiers left of the lower gully.
Hiking up Ha-Ling was snow the whole way, good walking.
