A doubleheader up on Eisenhower Tower this weekend, I climbed it both Saturday and Sunday. Sometimes it just works out that way.
Expect bad mosquitoes from the car to the summit if there is no wind.
A good trickle of water coming out of the snowpatch to refill water bottles. Another trickle halfway along Goat Ledge to the hut, and lots of water near the hut.
You need to cross one snowpatch on the ledge between the Tower and the hut, but it's quite short and we just kicked steps across it easily. Another spot with snow was avoided but it involves some unstable exposed gravel walking for just a few meters. I saw people walking up with ice axes but you don't need them anymore.
Dang hot up there this weekend!
