Spent the Long Weekend trumpin around Lake O'Hara. Some observations...
Sunny with valley bottom highs in the high 20's.
Lots of snow above 9000 feet
Lots of big cornices
Some loose snow action in the afternoon but not as much as I expected
given how warm it was.
Two older (6 or 7 days?) slabs (big 2's) out on west face of Glacier
Peak
Lots of snow on west face of Lefroy that potentially could come down on
Abbot's Pass Trail during afternoon warm up.
