Evans Thomas in the Kananaskis Valley, GBU in the Ghost and Coire Dubh near Yamnuska. We retreated on Coire Dubh today due to the presence of 40cm thick "Drummy" slabs between the pitches. These slabs were up to 40cm thick and failing in sugary facets at the base of the snowpack. Mike Koppang SG Kananaskis Public Safety
