Spent the day on the "Windy Point Horseshoe" scramble (Up Windy Point Ridge, over Lookout, Talus Buckle and the fourth unnamed peak-let), down the next ridge to the west) in David Thompson country. Beautiful day, perfect dry conditions to our high point on all aspects up to 2400m. Wildflowers and mosquitoes out in full force. Killing twenty of the bugs with each swat. Recondite, Cline and Willingdon are looking very snowy. -- Tom Wolfe IFMGA www.banffmountainguides.com Trip Photos: https://picasaweb.google.com/sawback/2011SummerWindyCornerElisabeth _______________________________________________ These observations and opinions are those of the person who submitted them.
