Hey all,

Just back last night from another three days out of the Neil Colgan Hut this week.
Couple updates: Both clear nights and sub-zero temps gave great overnight freezes and made travel quick and easy on the glacier. 5cm's of snow wednesday overnight, along with a bit of verglass on the crux step made our trip up the West Ridge on Fay a bit slick, but definitely still manageable. We took the climbers right hand snowslope to access the ridge again. Still easy  to cross the bergschrund there, and still easy enough to access the ice below for anchors.

Also had a quick run up Mount Little before descending yesterday, still in good shape, just harder to kick those big bucket steps with the the uber solid freezes.

As of yesterday afternoon, looked like most of the peaks locally around Fay had shed most of the fresh snow we saw Wednesday night, as well as that of the previous storm. Looking back up at the West ridge as we descended, looked like it had almost totally dried out. A lot less water running on the Perren this week with the cold temps.

Have fun out there!
