Was skiing at Tryst Lake area today in Kananaskis.  There was about 20-25cm of new snow since Monday judging from how much snow is covering the sun crust on super slope as reported by Grant Statham.  Today the sun was just beginning to affect the new snow surface at 11am on super slope.
On the north aspect above Commonwealth Crk the surface hoar is now buried about 40cm and even in the sheltered areas it is reactive to skier traffic and we observed several shooting cracks.

There was intense wind transport and the skies cleared by about 10am.
