Climbed the S ridge of Victoria today from Abbott Hut. It is in as good a shape
as it ever gets. The sickle is snow and the rest of the route is dry.
We descended the Huber Ledges. The gully off the Victoria ridge is mostly talus
right now. There is a 30 m section of ice to reach the snow above the schrund.
The schrund is easily crossed on the skiers right.
Lefroy is icy near the top and has had rockfall. It looks unappealing to me.
