I climbed Kidd Falls today. Surprisingly we had to break a trail in
there and there was little sign of recent traffic on the ice apart
from an Abalakov at the top.
The route is in excellent condition. The bottom pillar is steep and
sustained and the top short pitch is interesting with a brief sting in
the tail before the anchor.
Overall Kidd Falls is hard for the grade at the moment -- still early
season conditions -- but protects well on perfect ice.
