Hi

I guided an avalanche crest trip today in Roger's Pass.  Great travel and ski conditions.

Weather:
Today:  Overcast skies, very light snow accumulation, light winds

Avalanche Activity: limited to sloughing out of steep terrain

In addition to Scott's post on the 25th regarding the surface hoar layer: Up to ten centimetres of light fluff now blankets this surface hoar layer.  It is becoming reactive  to skier traffic (as fast moving slough) in steeper terrain such as pillows and gullies.

Pay attention to new snow accumulation in the next few days.
