Hello Everyone, I spent the past three days skiing in the Rogers Pass area. We skied in the Illecillewaet Glacier/Pearly Rock area, Balu Pass/Cougar Brook and The Hermit/Swiss Glacier area. Ski quality was excellent with consistent boot top and above cold powder in all three areas and no wind effect on the surface, although there were old
buried wind slabs along exposed ridges at treeline in the alpine. Besides surface sloughing in steep terrain I observed no avalanche activity. The average snow pack depth at treeline was 220cm. Happy New Year!
