Climbed Wicked Wanda in South Ghost today with a guest. Last couple days it
snow between 25 to 30 cm, the snow is low density. We were the 1st and only
vehicle in there. The only time I Used my chains was for the big hill on the
way out, and we were glad to have them. I am sure with more traffic there will
be no need for chains.
The snow is well below threshold for avalanches, but if there was wind, you
could potentially find some wind loaded pockets in certain areas.
Five days ago I climbed wicked Wanda and used the bolted anchors on the last
pitch on the left. But today I couldn't find them, they must be covered up by
ice. We rapped off V-threads.
