Went to the Sentinel last week Wednesday hence the information is slightly
dated. Ice axes came in handy as there is still quite a bit of residual snow
to traverse on the approach after leaving the trail from Sentinel Pass.
The normal route up the West side of Mt. Temple looked largely dry (see
attached photo) and so did the Perren Route to the Neil Colgan Hut and Mt.
Fay (see attached photo). Looks like the ice routes in the North Face of Mt.
Fay are losing their snow coverage in a rush.
