Tom Gruber and I guided ascents of Mt Assiniboine's N ridge yesterday August 6.
A couple of additions to Mike's MCR from last week.
Thanks to the parties who have worked on both bridges. It is now possible to
park at the Assiniboine Lake trailhead with a high clearance vehicle.
Rain in the valley has resulted in some snow, verglass, and frost above 3200m
on the mountain. The N ridge. We found crampons advantageous above the red band
on our ascent.
Heavy showers daily between 5-7 Aug.
