[MCR] Polar Circus - lower half

Subject: [MCR] Polar Circus - lower half
Date: Tue, 4 Feb 2014 21:15:08 -0700
My guest and I enjoyed comfortable temperatures climbing in the sun on the lower half of Polar Circus today.  We climbed to just below The Pencil and retreated.
Temperature was –28c, winds were calm, and the sky was clear when we left the car at 1045am. The ice was cold, hard, and brittle.

The lower pitches come into the sun at 1145am at this time of year.

No avalanches observed.
