Please be advised that Parks Canada MAY be conducting avalanche control in
the Parker Ridge area tomorrow, Feb. 17, between 12:00 and 18:00. Climbing
and skiing will not be impacted (all areas still open) but through traffic
can expect intermittent closures of up to 2 hours between the bottom of
Nigel hill and the Parker Ridge trailhead.
Control actions are weather dependent at this point and may occur
throughout the week. For the most up to date information on road
conditions and road closures travellers can contact Jasper's National
Park's Road Report Information line at 780-852-3311, check the Road
Conditions Report on our website at www.pc.gc.ca or check Alberta's
Official Road Reports at www.511.alberta.ca.
