Subject: [MCR] Ghost ice conditions
Date: Wed, 19 Feb 2014 20:09:26 -0700
Made back to back trips into the Ghost yesterday and today with my guests.

Some observations:

- No new snow
-winds were moderate at valley bottom both days and strong at ridge top
-temps were between –8c and 0c
-blue bridge crossing is as easy as it gets – no open water pools in sight
- fairly easy 4x4ing through the rutted drifts at ‘Stumpland’ with a stock Toyota 4Runner
- good dry ice conditions and beaten in trails to  Anorexia Nervosa, Weathering Heights, and Wicked Wanda
