Guided Sky Pilot Mountain today to a Summit of Fog! Travel was good, at worst boot top by the end of our day on the snow. One large avalanche was noted, looked to be a day or more old. I could not get a good look or see the start zone, but it looked to have run about 300m, was about 40m wide with car size blocks of snow in it.  Guessing it was a glide crack release. From the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola the trip took us about 8 hours round trip. The trail still has snow on it in places before the main snow field, but is well flagged from the end of the old Shannon Creek forest road. The trail could use a bit of pruning here and there but  didn't require any major bush crashing.

Fun day out!
