I guided an ascent of the regular route on Mount Temple today for Yamnuska.com.
There are still a couple of snow patches with good steps on the trail to Sentinel Pass. Before the grey band, there is about 20m of snow in the gully to cross. In the yellow band, it is possible to avoid all snow and ice. Above the yellow band, the trail in the scree is still buried by a shallow snow field. The slabby ridge on the left however is dry and offered good travel to the upper talus ridge. It was possible to avoid snow from here to the summit.
We did not use crampons and did not need ice axes, however there was no refreeze last night on the mountain. Water is available around the grey band at this time.
