My fellow guide, James Madden, and I guided ascents of the west ridge of Mt
Fay, Aug 24, and the north ridge of Mt Little, Aug 25 th. Both climbs were made
from the Colgan Hut. The peaks and glacier are very dry even given several
centimetres of new snow on the ice. Good freezes both nights created some
slipperiness on frost coated rock. Otherwise all of the rock is bare. We didn't
touch any snow on our way up the Schiesser/Lomas, or down the Perrin.
