Climbed Spray River Falls today on the winter solstice with my guest Mark S.
Best conditions I've seen on this route, and the approach trail is about as
easy as it gets right now. There is a dry line on every pitch. No new snow in
the Banff area as of 330pm today.
In the approach gully, there is about 20-30cms of faceted snow over ground if
you step off the main trail. No avalanches observed.
