Great spring conditions today on Yamnuska. We climbed Gollum Grooves on the
east end.
The hiking trail is almost free of snow and ice up to the shoulder. It is muddy
in places. Beyond, trail spikes and hiking poles helped a lot. The traverse
trail has plenty of drifted snow and ice, but it was melting fast today.
The face climbing is dry and warm in the sun. Snow is still lurking at the
backs of the chimneys.
